Wedding FAQ
Can We Meet with You Before the Wedding?
Absolutely! We love meeting our clients before the big day. It gives us a chance to get to know each other, review products, and ensure we create a smooth and efficient timeline for your special day.
We Have Busy Schedules and Can't Meet in Person. What Are Our Options?
No problem! We can "meet" via Zoom to answer any questions without the need to leave your home. We're also happy to discuss details over email or phone, whichever works best for you.
Do I Need One or Two Photographers?
A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and with so many special moments to capture, it's important to consider the size and scope of your day. If you have more than 50 guests, we highly recommend hiring two photographers. This ensures a wider range of coverage, with photographers capturing moments from different angles and perspectives. With two photographers, you increase the chance of capturing every priceless moment and all the emotions of your big day.
How Does Your Pricing Work?
Our services and products are custom-tailored to suit each couple’s unique needs. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or an extravagant event, we have packages that can accommodate your vision.
How Do I Reserve You for My Wedding Date?
Your date is officially reserved once we receive your signed contract and a 50% deposit of the total package price. The remaining balance is due on your wedding day.
How Many Photos Do You Take at a Wedding?
We ensure that every moment of your event is thoroughly documented. The number of photos varies depending on the time and events of the day. We don’t limit the number of photos - our goal is to capture each moment as it happens. On average, you can expect around 100+ images per hour.
What Cameras Do You Use?
We are a fully digital studio, using top-of-the-line Canon cameras like the Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 5D Mark II, along with high-quality lenses. This equipment allows us to capture stunning images in any lighting situation.
Do You Have Backup Equipment?
Yes, we always bring backup cameras that are of the same high quality as our primary ones. For example, our backup is the Canon 5D Mark II.
Do You Shoot in JPEG or RAW?
We shoot all of our photos in RAW format to ensure the highest quality possible.
Can We Get the Digital Files?
Absolutely! We provide high-resolution digital files with printing rights for personal use. While you can print and share your photos, Vadym Vasylenko Photography retains the copyright for promotional, competitive, and professional purposes.

"According to a survey run by TheWeddingChannel.com, the number one regret married couples had is that they wished they would have invested more money on their wedding photography... when the music is over, the food is gone, and the flowers are dead; your wedding pictures are the only thing left to bring back those memories! The irony is, that most people spend more on flowers or food than their wedding photography... Your wedding album will last long past your wedding day and then be passed down to your children and grandchildren... don’t you think wedding photography should be a place in your budget where you give priority?"
